WDRM certified to the Maritime Labour Convention 2006

Following a successful audit, WD Resources (Malta) Limited is delighted to have received certification to DNV GL Standard 0030 – Part 2: Private Recruitment and Placement Services as compliant with the requirements for the Maritime Labour Convention 2006.

MLC 2006 came into force in 2013 and enforces more rigorous regulations for the welfare of seafarers. Qualifying ships must comply with International regulations set out in the Convention, helping to make the shipping industry a safer area in which to work in.
