Taking place at the Intercontinental Hotel in St Julian’s, Malta, WDRM is proud to have sponsored the Opportunities in Superyachts conference for a second year running.
Now in its fourth year, this annual event saw both local and international companies working within the superyacht sector, come together to discuss key issues that face the industry.
Organised by Quaynote Communications, the conference got underway with a welcome from the Maltese Minister for Transport and Infrastructure, Hon. Joe Mizzi, who reaffirmed that Malta’s maritime industry is open for business and the government is fully committed to promoting the industry during Malta’s upcoming six month EU Presidency.
Throughout the day, guest speakers covered a variety of relevant subjects, including; superyacht safety, financing and risks, with WDRM, Managing Director, Neil Carrington speaking on employee engagement and global employment solutions.
Following the presentations, delegates were able to discuss these topics in more detail at the roundtable discussions, with each table chaired by an industry leader.
Further input from Transport Malta’s Ivan Sammut, confirmed Malta’s commitment to becoming a leader in the Superyacht industry through quality and efficiency.
Bringing the evening to a close, guests attended a cocktail reception, sponsored by WDRM, giving individuals the opportunity to network and make key industry contacts.
